"We have stayed here 5 out of the last 7 years. We keep coming back because of the fenced yard, the beautiful deck and the fantastic view. But there were some disappointments this year. The boards at the top of the steps are becoming a tripping hazard, the hedge hasn't been trimmed and is blocking the view and the drape covering the slider is in need of drastic repair. "Outside of property needs maintenance but inside was clean and comfortable. Would like to have written instructions for tv and dvd. It took quite some time to figure out the tv and we never did figure out the dvd. There is only one small towel bar in the bathroom, it would be nice for at least one more bar and/or some hooks. Laura responded very quickly to our maintenance issue."

"We enjoyed our stay. The house was super clean, the bed was comfy, and the views from every room are incredible. It truly is where the mountains meet the sea. Expansive sky views for stargazing and huge ocean views with spectacular sunsets. Perfect location, close to the best hiking and beaches. The owners live next door, but they are not clingy or intrusive. Great house with great amenities. sunsets"

"We spent one week at this incredible home above the ocean in Gold Beach. It was absolutely beautiful in every way ! We really appreciated the artsy home with interesting things everywhere. The outdoor shower with hot water was lovely. We enjoyed the hot tub daily and BBQ. Really nice washer & dryer so we could enjoy clean towels. The kitchen is super well stocked with pots, pans ,dishes, appliances etc…( even spices) so we made dinner every night. We were blessed with gorgeous weather to top off...

"Communication on how to check in was awful. I received an email "here are your keys" but nothing about how to get in. Got there and there was a lock box but we never got a code. Side door was open (lock is broken) so we got in but could see people were living there... very scary. Contacted vrbo and found out that our rental was actually around the side of the garage (not in sight). So we were in somebody else's house. The host needs to have separate addresses for the two places like A and B, and...

"Bandon is an absolute gem of the Oregon coast, and Heather’s cabin is amazing!! She was helpful, responsive and attentive. The property is spacious and beautiful, and the home is cozy and very well provisioned. The wood burning stove made it home for us. We’ll definitely be back. "

"It was everything I needed to get away. It was nice the city amenities were just down the hill. The cabin is cozy and welcoming. I packed out my trash, brought my own water and camp stove for making coffee. The wrap around porch was super lovely. I spent the evening reading until it got chilly, started a toasty fire and curled up in the comfy bed. I brought a couple lanterns to conserve the solar light and two were perfect. I loved waking up to the view of Coos Bay. I didnt mind the compost...
