"Oceanfront Hacienda is such a hidden gem! I used to live in SC and I can honestly say this is in the top 3 best places to stay. We stayed in the Grotto for one night and it exceeded our expectations. They have done a great job of keeping the old charm of the property, it’s obvious that the owners really love it. "It's about a 20-25 min walk (with double stroller and grandparents) to Downtown Disney. Then about 10 min through to the park gates. We mainly walked about 5-6 min to the ART bus stop, and rode that right to the gates. "Overall great place we definitely had some problems while we were there but the management company got right on it. It was very inconvenient because there was no hot water and couldn’t heat the hot tub but they took care of us. I def thought it was closer to Disney than it was.
