"The room was nicely appointed, comfortable and all staff were very pleasant. Included was a breakfast off their menu, which was very good. The outdoor gardens and surrounding property added to the ambience. "

"It’s a 150 year old house with a lot of character. We stayed in The Mews which is a 2 story motel like building next to the main house. It’s showing its age but it’s currently under renovation so they are working on upgrades. It’s was very clean and the view was amazing. The staff were really friendly. We’d definitely go back."

"Lovely property with friendly staff. Breakfast was freshly prepared. The on-site outdoor sculpture gallery and wine tasting made this property stand out. The only downside was no microwave or coffee maker in the room if you wanted a late-night decaf."

"Great overnight stay one minute from the Avon Theatre. Nice to be able to walk around town. Staff are all warm, friendly, professional and very helpful. Rooms are large, high ceilings, clean - mattresses on beds are on the firm side. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent - steaks and wine by the glass are fabulous, apps, salads delicious. A great stay. Would recommend. Thank you!"

"Perfect for motorcycle day touring. Located in the center of many good back roads and small towns. Easy access to Hwy 11, north or south. Has a small kitchen with frig, toaster oven, microwave, and even a Keurig coffee maker. The door has a digital key pad, so no worry about losing keys. The room is clean and bright. The bed is especially comfortable, nice sheets and blanket.It's a quick 8 km trip to Orilla for any supplies or dinning. Excellent value, I will definitely be back next time. "
