There is plenty to do and everything is close but you can also drive further up to enjoy beautiful scenery. There will most definitely come back. "We were allowed early access to the house which was appreciated. We were there for less than 24 hours so did not use the ample back yard or hot tub. An older home with it's quirks. The temperature in the house was a little tricky to regulate but manageable. The upstairs TV did not work I believe because there was not a remote that we could get to work. We appreciated the coffee for our early am check out. "

"Overall this spot was great. For some reason the hot tub had an error and wouldn’t heat up. Was really looking forward to the hot tub. The bed was extremely comfortable and Allen was great. "

"House was perfect for out 4 couple weekend. We were in town for a Birthday Bash at a friend’s house. The location was great for restaurants and the breweries. Sunrise over the lake was magnificent with a hot cup of coffee. Would recommend for anyone. I am sure summer would be a great stay. "

"If you’re looking for a modern, luxurious, secluded location this is not for you. But if you are looking for a rustic farmhouse reminiscent of your grandparents or great grandparents and within walking distance of Main St, this place will work. Keep in mind it is a 1930’s house with a lot of the original “charm”. We loved it and plan to stay again."

"This place exceeded our expectations. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable, the beach is a real gem and the views are wonderful. We stayed at The Pearl for Christmas 2024 and it was really great. Would strongly suggest for a couple or small family looking for a comfyt get-away on the water close, but not too close, to Charlotte."
