"This was a great place for Fall Break with the family. Views to die for and close to other places to see in WV!"

"This was probably the best vacation rental we have ever been to. It was snowy and cold when we went, but we were still able to enjoy the hot tub and use the grill. The star gazing window inside was our favorite part even though the night didn’t allow for many stars to be seen. We 100% fully intend on coming back to this location in the summer when we can go rafting and try out some of the other activities around the area. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. "

"Owner is so responsive and we have everything what we need in kitchen. Very clean , warm and cozy house. Hot tub is very clean and can fit 6-7 persin even tho we are only 4 pwrson. Bed room is a little bit small if you are big person. But we are ok with that. Over all, we like this owl nest."

"We had a lovely Thanksgiving at the Hobbit House! Nina was very helpful ahead of our visit and even sent me photos of the pots and pans to make sure we had what we needed to cook everything. The kids loved the trails and the hunt for the rings. They have put thought into all the little things such as labeling light switches, a QR code by the fire pit to assist with building a fire and labeling hot tub buttons so you don't accidentally press the wrong one. "This place is spectacular! This is the 2nd time we have stayed at one jims cabins. And this time is snowed and it was just beautiful. "We enjoyed this quaint cottage tucked away, but yet close enough to the main road. It was just the right size for a couples weekend and appointed with everything we needed for this trip. What a nice surprise to find the Winery just around the bend. After a long day of hiking ohiopyle and exploring falling water, it was nice to enjoy some music at the Winery and then head back to the cottage and make a fire in the fireplace. One note: the tiny TV is nothing to write home about. Consider...

"Overall everything is neat"

"Our family enjoys DCL every other year for Thanksgiving. This year, we stayed at Magnolia and we were not disappointed. The house was well stocked with every-thing we needed. We loved the different sitting arrangements that afforded all of us a place to escape from the chaos, when necessary. "

"Great weekend getaway! Super close to restaurants/stores with beautiful lake view. Place was clean and bonus having water filtration system. There are a lot of steps from parking (since it was snowing we couldn’t get up driveway) but was not an issue. "

"This is a great place to stay, it has a lot going on to keep you busy. The room was nice and the lodge is clean and comfortable. It has many places to eat and a place to get coffee and a quick breakfast. The price for the lodge is vey reasonable. At least for Christmas it was. Will definitely go back. "
