"What a horrible experience! It was awful from start to finish. I booked a room at the I Street hostel. When I got there, they told me that the construction hadn't been finished and I had to go to the U Street capsule hostel. In other words, I booked one place and was forced to stay at another, with the excuse that “it's not that far away”. To keep me quiet, they allocated me a private room from Monday to Friday. On Thursday I received a message that they were removing all my things from the room...

"The room was nice, the other tenants we ran into were also pleasant. We got to meet the owners husband, he was contracting someone to fix a banister and got it done that same day. The location is good and close a lot of fun stuff, like museums and some nice food and bars. The bathrooms were clean and people staying were good with cleaning up after themselves. The room floor was a little dirty, but we found a broom and cleaned it up when we arrived. "

"Location: close to Metro station and Capital Bike Share and a supermarket (Giant). Not the best neighborhood but I did not feel unsafe although I did not left or arrived late at night. Reception open only after 10 am (closing time I do not know). If you have any problem when reception is closed I guess nobody will help you (for instance: you can be locked out of your room or even out of the hostel). Only one bathroom for all rooms (2 sinks, 2 toilets, 2 showers inside the bathroom). As the space...
