"It was a lovely stay, thank you so much. Snuggley warm with the fire going and lots of warm blankets to keep us warm at night. And even lovely home baked cookies with a cuppa, thank you "

"We enjoyed staying in this characterful house for a weekend in New Plymouth. Lovely and warm (good heating!), spotlessly clean and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated tea, coffee & milk provided for us plus lots of handy extras. The front bedroom room gets a bit of noise from the main road (although the house is on a quiet street), but back bedroom was v quiet. Outside courtyard and table would be perfect in summer. We enjoyed a hot soak at thermal spa across the road - perfect for...

"Good location but the lack of sound proofing from neighbouring property was a detractor. Fine for a short stay. "

"Lovely quiet place to stay. We loved it.especially morning sunrise was so beautiful from the kitchen.Only the shower temperature adjustment was difficult for us."

"Only 15-20min to Womad - a super calm and cozy place to unwind after a big day at the festival! "

"The whole place was amazing. Felt like arriving to a holiday resort. Plenty of room for everyone. Safety issues with children and pools were very well adressed. Felt safe. Pool area could have used an update to make it even more luxurious. There was a construction site next door but it did not bother us that much. The overall look had aged a bit from the pictures but we enjoyed our stay anyway."

The place is in a great area being very central but just far enough away to be super quiet, we loved watching the butterflies in the native trees over from the section.
