"John welcomed us and was a remarkable host. We stayed in six different accomodations on this trip and this one was by far our favorite. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and convenient. John gave us a great dining recommendation which was within an easy 8-10 minute walk. We would love to stay here again. "What a cute Inn. Hosts very responsive when asked a question. Able to walk to the shops and restaurants. Woke up and saw they had cleaned the snow off our vehicle!!"

"Beautiful home. Hostess was attentive and a very interesting and thoughtful person. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. We will be returning and recommending the Hydrangea Inn to our friends."

"My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location is perfect for walking to everything we wanted to see and on-site parking is a big plus. The place is impeccably clean and having a continental breakfast ready in the morning was a nice touch to start the day. Staying in the oldest house in Salem was a very cool experience. "

"Run by the kindest people (and friendliest cats!) in all of Salem, and could not possibly be more centrally located! You can walk everywhere from here, and you have a front row seat to any events in the square - it's literally right across the street. Parking in Salem is at a premium, and we are driving a crew cab truck to make it even worse, but Matt went WELL above and beyond to make sure we got a great spot. Do note - it's a lovely old house, but like most old houses, it does have steps, ...
