Beautiful ocean views from both of upstairs balcony and covered porch downstairs. Clean, ACs are working. Walking distance to cute restaurants and convenience store. Lots to do in the area. "We loved our stay at the Duval House. The place is tastefully appointed and we especially appreciated that the mattresses are very comfy. This is usually not always the case, our 50old bodies appreciated it. The only ever-so-slight pain was that we could hear someone tromping upstairs for some of the time but that minor thing didn't hinder our stay one bit. We'd definitely stay here again when we visit Gloucester next. "

"My husband and i loved the ocean front views and sounds and walk on the beach in the morning The location was great close to salem and marblehead a beautiful little town . The place was clean and we loved the eclectic antique style and furnishings that were super comfortable also love the big wood burning fireplace..our Host was top notch immediate response and care for whatever you needed made for a great experience. "Hosts were fantastic and the apartment was very beautiful. View was gorgeous. Kitchen and bathroom were well stocked and I can’t say enough about how wonderful the water pressure was in the shower. There were 2 comfortable king sized beds and 2 roll out twin beds. Location was great for jumping on the train. Dryft restaurant a couple blocks away had really good food. "The stay was great overall. When we entered the rental unit there was a lot of sand throughout, and the trash barrels were full and had not been taken to the curb (they had food items left in them so there were some maggots in the barrels, unfortunately). Aside from some trouble trying to fit our garbage into the barrel before the midweek pickup everything else was pretty smooth. Two things I would suggest is replacing the bug screen on the main sliding door, it’s a wonderful feature to have in...

"Stayed at a wonderful property in Marblehead for the week while we visited the area (Boston, Salem, Gloucester). Great location! Marblehead itself is a quaint, small town with great restaurants. The Vrbo property is comfortable and clean. Our property host, Peter, is very responsive. We would definitely return to this location and property if visiting the area in the future. "
