"We loved everything about this house! It sits on top of a hill with a huge dining window overlooking the valley and mountains in the distance, with blooming rhododendrons and a visiting hummingbird drinking from the feeder. It was quiet and peaceful and the kitchen was the best-stocked kitchen out of any of the probably 30 houses we've rented on vacations. It is a distance from anywhere and there are no local stores if you forgot something, but that was the only downside. We were close to...

"We stayed here on our family vacation. The house was amazing. There were 6 of us staying there and more than enough room. We found so many things to do from the kids playing in the river, fishing, or just relaxing on one of the decks. I couldn’t recommend a stay here enough. Thank you again!!! "The best part for us was the quiet, privacy, and view that allowed us to relax. The cute cabin was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of linens and the kitchen was sufficiently stocked. The two porches had an amazing view. The walk down to the lake on the well-constructed stairs and landings to the dock was a hidden gem. We even caught some fish and would like to return again."

"We enjoyed the privacy and the property was well appointed. Some of the guidance docs were hard to follow but nothing that impacted our stay. If you’re going fishing, just walk around the gated complex of hatchery ponds to pick up the trail. It’s not obvious the first time. "

"Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see...

"Peaceful and quiet with lots of conversation and no distractions. Kayaking on the river, shopping ain Sparta, and making s'mores by the fire pit. We hope to go back!"

"From entering the cabin, to the time we left, we were met with a warm cozy spirit. The place was clean and smelt pleasant, and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The outside area was enough space to have a small fire and roast marshmallows. A great place if you are ever around marion! "

"Awesome! Quiet, secluded setting was just what we wanted. Spent a lot of time in the screened in porch and the hot tub. Was worried with no AC in the middle of a hot July, but was comfortable especially at night with a nice breeze thru the many screened windows. Has everything you need, perfect vacation! "The location was rural which was what we were wanting. Our last cabin rental was right downtown so this was perfect. There were three bedrooms and two baths.
