"My wife and I booked the house for an anniversary weekend and it did not disappoint. It is in a very quite and peaceful area and is a great house for relaxing in. Getting to enjoy the wildlife in the backyard while just standing in the kitchen as well as the wildlife seen on the short walk to the lake was a plus. Getting to see the fall colors starting to show as great as well. The screened in porch is a great place for some outside relaxing that still has light if you want to be out there...

"This charming cottage was very clean, had the amenities as listed, well-equipped kitchen, including coffee and tea. Great location. We did not use our vehicles the whole time we were in Mackinaw. Easy walk to the ferry, downtown, and the bike/walking trail. Owner was quick to respond when we had a question. Highly recommend."

"We have come here 3years in a row and are never disappointed! This is a great property that is clean, has lots of beds, and a well stocked kitchen. We come for hunting so we are out in the woods a lot which is so peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is homey and a nice place to spend time! "

"We stayed with our four kids and brought the boat. The kids fished off the dock where we parked the boat during our stay. In walking distance of a grocery store, Fiddleheads breakfast/lunch spot, the Boathouse Winery, the Capital Dog (great ice cream), a True Value and even a gas station.Plenty of seating on the deck and the four queen beds (two were pull out couches) worked for our family. If needed plenty of space for an air mattress. Typical northern Michigan cabin: small kitchen but open to...
