"Cheap, one night stay. Ok Motel, nothing worth mentioning on the positive side. Bed not very comfortable, and thermostat for heater needs calibration."

"It’s in a fantastic location and was easy to get everywhere from there. Chinatown was basically just outside our door and Union Square a 5 minute walk. We walked to pier 39 in about 25 minutes and to the cable car turn around in about 15 minutes. Literally everything was so conveniently close. It’s no 5 star but definitely a 3 star and we enjoyed our stay. Crazy old cage elevator if you can’t do stairs and the stairway is narrow and steep with a hairpin turn at the top. We truly enjoyed our stay...

"This house was excellent. The location was just over a city block away from the light rail and buses. We used the excellent SF transportation system to go downtown and then the Golden Gate bridge. The house was very clean and quiet. Jerry, the host, communicated well in advance of arrival and gave us a good run down of the house when we arrived. Thanks."

"I enjoyed my stay. The bed was comfortable. Shower was hot with good water pressure. I felt safe. It was loud but not unbearable. A car horn and siren woke me up. The windows are right by the street. No real complaints. The stairs kinda shocked us. To afraid to ride the old school elevator. Would stay again my husband wouldn’t. "
