"Although the property is rural its a perfect base to get to lots of places. If you drive then everything you need is virtually on the doorstep! The property is very close to grocery and retail shops with Chester and Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet a short drive away. Gary is the perfect host and we loved the personal "meet & greet". "The property is undoubtedly small. It was very clean and comfortable - a perfect base for exploring this wonderful area. Plenty of grocery stores and pubs/restaurants in surrounding area. A very steep narrow staircase leading to the second level of the property. I note this has been mentioned in other reviews too. Overall, my wife and I were very satisfied with the property."

"Enjoyed our stay in Tarvin! The cottage was quaint and comfortable. The amenities were perfect for a weeks stay. It was winter so no garden in bloom but it was lovely, well maintained and I enjoyed some bird watching. "
