"Loved my stay here…Brant was very helpful with information on the area since it was our first visit. Very clean room and comfortable bed and pillows! Close walk to all of downtown shopping and restaurants. Piano bar is right across the street, but loved the live music in the garden area…the rabbit even enjoyed the music…lol…found out he feeds the rabbit graham crackers so they stick around. Beautiful property and town! Will definitely be back "

"The Lodge has been our first choice when we need to stay overnight for my spouse's medical appointments in St. Louis. It's proximity to I-55 makes it easy to locate. The property is amazing both inside and outside. We have been fortunate have Clark on several of our visits and he always gives us excellent service. "

"This b&b is situated in a very cool area...The park across the street is great for a walk, or pickleball, tennis etc. The restaurants nearby are fantastic- no need to drive anywhere, really. Check out the Venice Cafe (actually a bar) for sheer funkiness..Dan, the friendly and garrulous host, provided sumptuous breakfasts and many helpful suggestions. We'll be back!"

"Our host was easy-going when he greeted us at the door. The bed was very comfy, the room was quite large, and we loved being within walking distance of everything in Hermann. This place looks exactly like the guest bedroom your grandma's house. I wouldn't call the room secure (we never got an actual key for our room? maybe I'm too used to City Life!) Very quirky, this is not the place to stay if you need modern, updated accommodations. We had a great time exploring the town and would stay here...

"Mike is a great, easy-going guy. He gave us early access to the building & room. Convenient digital touchpad entry. He retained all the original woodwork, doors & windows that give the building a wonderful historic vibe. There is no better place to be centrally located for all of the downtown restaurants, shops, & historical sites. "
