"The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open. We are not feeble but it was almost impossible to slide due to being very heavy and stiff. The room itself smelt very strong of wood smoke from the chimnea, we did not use it during our stay. Also, the couch was extremely stained, i assume from people sitting on it when wet after using the hottub. It...

"Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "A nice hotel near the centre of Newcastle. The outside and lobby has kept it's heritage style, however the rest of the hotel has been updated. The room was very large and very modern. Large spacious bathroom with the latest conveniences. The kitchen facilities were modern and clean, just like the rest of the room. It really was like a home away from home. Only two minor issues, one being the noisy from the street below. Unfortunately we stayed on a Saturday night, and it was a bit rowdy...
