"You have to understand you're staying in a heritage building, within a town centre, above a busy, excellent pub/resteraunt. To some extent, the bedroom is a secondary consideration. "Warm greeting from Alison set the tone for this delightful small hotel. A cosy room with a comfy bed, great shower and a fantastic view over the sea. It's a fair way from restaurants so you need to drive into Berwick where there are great places to choose from. We had a great Turkish meal at Mavi. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"The overall experience at the Garden Rooms was good. We would return, though there were a few things which disappointed us. The large sliding doors to the outside were very difficult to open. "Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "
