"We were so pleased. We loved staying here. We were enchanted by the home, and found it charming, comfortable, and well situated. When we return to NJ we will be no longer be having much quality outdoor time, so we particularly enjoyed the back porch where we enjoyed much of our evenings. "

"The cottage was cute, affordable, and close to everything. The pictures in the listing are accurate. Thes hosts, Jeremey and his sister Hilary were great!! They were very nice and accomodating!! There were some reviews that mentioned excessive noise: we didn't experience that. Of course cars and people go by, but it wasn't any more than anywhere else we've stayed there. The shower: the shower was truly tiny, as stated in the listing.. We discussed this before booking, as my husband is 6...

"House nice and clean, I enjoyed the gas stove. Didn't like how we couldn't play in the pool after sunset, wanted to put the children to bed and just relax by the pool, but probably wouldn't have done that anyway because the pool is a little walk from the guest house. "The dates we selected was over hurricane Helene. We watched the storm over the river. The wind was very strong uplifting a tree to fall just short of our rental. The location can’t be beat! Close enough to walk to attractions without having to fight parking. We especially enjoyed fishing from the dock. "
