"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"I booked this trip to celebrate my engagement with family and friends. The house was beautiful and in an amazing location with lots of privacy. The host was super nice and helpful and very responsive to our questions. We were able to put up a tent in the yard with plenty of room as well. We would definitely recommend this house to others, for the location, home itself, and amazing hosts. "

"The property was clean, easy to find, and access. The kitchen was wonderfully stocked to handle all the cooking we did and there was plenty of space for everyone. It was a wonderful home and we were elated to be able to gather our friends and celebrate the completion of our 20s"

"The property could not have been better as a place for our family to gather for a wedding. It was centrally located for easy walking, while the parking was a godsend when we needed to drive. The first floor is a great common space, while there are lots of bedroom options upstairs. Only disappointment was that the double bed mattress in the northeast 2nd floor bedroom sagged into the middle more than even the happily married couple wanted it to. Might be worth considering replacing it. Otherwise...

"Big house with room for lots of people adults and kids. Great location on lake basically all by yourself. We kayaked across the lake and hiked around it. Many other hiking trails in the area. Great history in all directions. Easy access to skiing and the ocean. "

"Nice place and good location, but only one parking space, and beds like iron slabs. Otherwise, very nice."

"We were looking for somewhere small to house us for a few days at the beach, and this fit the bill! Jaye was so welcoming, accommodationg, and hospitable. You wont be sorry."

"When booking online it is often difficult to be assured that the information presented is accurate. In this case it really was; this truly is a stunning home in a secluded spot; even the wildlife was welcoming! We were there in winter and had a snow storm keeping us indoors for half of our weekend but that did not detract from our enjoyment at all, in fact, it added to the ambiance of our weekend. The only downside, if there was one, was the approach road being unpaved and muddy when we arrived;...

"We have now rented twice from Robin, the host. This house did not dissapoint, just like the other. Very spacious,so much room for everyone and everything. Loved that we were able to bring our dogs. "

"It was very good. The bed in the bedroom on the left is right under the heat vent so it makes it hard to sleep. That’s my only issue.Was a very clean place "

"The property was great the sense that’s beautiful kayaking on the salt pond was terrific. It was very clean and up-to-date. Would absolutely Recommended it ,we stayed two weeks😊"
