"Michael was the perfect host. Explained the functions of the house and its facilities. In its heyday it would have been an architectural statement but time has rather turned it into a faded present. The views are still to die for, the location is secluded and private and it is centrally located to explore the whole range. However the house was not as spotless as earlier guests had commented. Stained bathroom shower tray, torn screens on the bathroom windows let the horse flies and flies in to...

"We had another delightful stay at your beautiful home! The space was immaculate, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Luci, our 4 year old rottie had the best time exploring the backyard and the near by dog friendly beaches. Thank you for being such considerate and accommodating hosts, ensuring that both we and our pet had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. "Thoroughly enjoyed every second at Sid’s Place. We had my wife’s son and his wife and three young children stay with us for 2 nights and we all had plenty of room to move. The kids loved the backyard. We felt very at home there. Being so close to Mt Coolum was incredible. The beach a very short drive away and you cannot beat Curly’s or the Mt Coolum golf club for meals. Excellent IGA within walking distance which was a huge bonus. Looking forward to next time. "

"This was a really great stay and great location if you need to be close to the canals or the jetty for the boat hire. Only 4 stars as you have to clean and pack away the dishes yourself before you check-out at 10am. Not the easiest task if you have a family breakfast in the morning before you depart."

"We loved staying here (two couples, two dogs). The house is so cute and spread out enough to accommodate 4 adults comfortably. It is perfectly located only a few minutes walk to the beach as well as a cafe and delicious sea food restaurant - which were both dog friendly! The host, Emma, was so kind and quick to respond to our messages. We will definitely stay again next time we want a beach holiday with the fur babies. "
