"Our group of 8 (2 families) had an amazing stay at this home. Home is beachfront, directly in front of Colorados surf break and 2 min walk to Pilis restaurant, 7 min walk to panga drops. James was a great host and very responsive and helpful with any questions. Would stay here again for sure - great trip!"

"Went to Nicaragua with the family to celebrate my wife’s birthday (9 adults, 5 kids). Upon arrival, we were greeted by Santos, the housekeeper, who was very pleasant and hospitable. She cooked us Nicaraguan breakfast every morning which was delicious. The house was beautiful and very clean. All the families enjoyed a room which had its air conditioner. The Laguna de Apoyo is absolutely magical and these accomodations are superb. "This villa is the perfect retreat spot with spectacular views of the bay. Our host was super responsive and accommodating. The villa is set up with all the essentials including rockers and table, chaise chairs and a hammock for nap time 😉. The house is comfortable despite the afternoon heat but cross ventilation helps immensely. "The view is breathtaking, ac is cold, pool is refreshing and staff is fantastic. My whole family enjoyed this vacation. We had yoga instructors come from San Juan most mornings for family yoga in the private palapa as well as masseuses a couple times for sunset 10/10. The beach is really close, surfing is fun for all levels, restaurants are delicious. Town is about 30min out on a dirt road, and they are building a new road as I was there so may be closer soon - will be back!!"

"I got sick, woke up with 104 fever 4 days before my stay and had to go to the hospital. I messaged the host to advise him immediately that I missed my flight and had to cancel hoping to get a voucher or reschedule. I never heard anything. Then a day prior someone from the resort who represents him asked me how my stay was, at which time I reiterated that I was not even in the country, didn’t make it on my trip, and I advise that representative that had messaged the host. "One of the most amazing places I’ve stayed and the perfect setting for our group. Manuel and his family were super helpful whenever we needed Theo assistance on the property. Communication was excellent during and leading up to our stay. I would absolutely stay here again. The roads to get there were a bit tricky, so make sure you have clear directions, especially if you’re arriving at night. For us, this was all just part of an epic adventure! Only good things to say about this place."

House is on top of a steep hill from the beach with multiple other houses between it and the beach.
