"It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. "

"Our stay in Newport was very comfortable in the three bedroom, two bath space. The kitchen and living room were just as pictured and in great shape. Parking across the street was a great bonus. The third bedroom (downstairs) was very spacious, but a bit drafty since it opened to an unheated storage area and outside. The second bath shower was tiny for my 6'3" frame. Great restaurants, and coffee shops close by. Chris is a wonderful host."

"The property could not have been better as a place for our family to gather for a wedding. It was centrally located for easy walking, while the parking was a godsend when we needed to drive. The first floor is a great common space, while there are lots of bedroom options upstairs. Only disappointment was that the double bed mattress in the northeast 2nd floor bedroom sagged into the middle more than even the happily married couple wanted it to. Might be worth considering replacing it. Otherwise...

"The apartment was perfect. Cozy and clean. Right in downtown and convenient to everything. A little loud at night due to young kids leaving bars, but the owner was thoughtful enough to supply sound machines in all the rooms. Would definitely stay again. "

"Easy Checkin, clean and spacious 3 level townhome. Reverse layout with bedrooms on bottom floor took getting used to but not an issue. People next door were a little loud at night so walls must be thin but they quieted without us having to complain. About 15-20 minute walk to town or short car ride if can find parking. Enjoyed our stay and 2 car parking eas a bonus. "

"Overall, the property is great! Wonderful location and plenty of space for 3 couples. There was only 1 towel per person for a 3 night stay and we had to call maintenance for the gas fireplace and a flickering overhead light. The fireplace was quickly fixed but the light needed more time so we had just the bedside lamp for the stay. There was also no water run to the ice maker so that was a little disappointing. The top floor master suite got super cold the night it snowed. Not sure if the heat...

"Beautiful, historic building. It is well mainland inside and out. Staff is responsive. Hot water is problematic - took about ten minutes to get warm and it ran out during a shower. I wouldn’t recommend going during President’s week unless you have young kids (or don’t mind them running and yelling around the hotel). Definitely convenient to good restaurants, shopping, and beaches. "
