Short Term Lodging Permit: SLP12525

Rare single family home located just one house off the beach. This house features ocean views from the 2nd level along with an upper wet bar with a refrigerator and lower full kitchen. The two second floor bedrooms are masters and there is Air Conditioning throughout the house. The second level balcony has a retractable awning for the perfect ocean viewing experience. There is a large, rooftop deck with sweeping ocean views. A two car garage with washer/dryer inside is included.

General Info:

Minimum Age Requirement: The minimum age to rent this unit is 25 years old and to finalize the reservation a secure guest verification portal must be completed.

**All reservations are subject to owner approval**

Pets: Pets are not permitted on or about the premises. ADA service animals required because of a disability are allowed with advanced notice. ESA's, Emotional Support Animals, are not allowed.

Parking: 2 car parking - This unit provides 2 car garage parking.

Bedding: Blankets, mattress pads, bed spreads, sheets and towels are provided!

Kitchen/Supplies: Our kitchens are supplied with all the basic dishes, utensils and cookware needed for everyday cooking. We also stock some cleaning supplies and dry goods such as paper towels, toilet paper, coffee filters, trash bags, foil, etc. to help you begin your vacation however you may need to purchase additional supplies during your stay. We do not provide certain cooking items including salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. as well as specialty cookware.

You may want to bring: Laundry detergent, beach chairs/equipment, paper plates/plastic cutlery, extra beach towels, pens and paper, etc.

Splendid vacation
We went there for my parents 50th anniversary. This house is splendid. Location is amazing, although not on the first row facing the beach but it has a very nice view of the ocean. It was in a very clean condition when we checked in. Check in was a bit confusing since we needed to open the garage door first then the house door but other than than I’ll give it 5 stars. Owner/manager was very responsive too.

Annual Girls Trip
The house is in the perfect location for quick beach access; has plenty of room inside for larger gatherings; there's a small park directly across the street for the littles (which was awesome); it was clean upon arrival and, it has most of the basics needed in the kitchen. We all had a great time and would rent this same house again. A few things to be aware of: The bbq provided was basically out of propane and we had to finish cooking our meal in the oven as a result (recommend checking the propane tank immediately upon arrival so that rental mgmt can get there with a refill). The rooftop deck leaves a lot to be desired... feels barren with only a table and chairs around it and is not very inviting and the deck on the 2nd level is not big enough for more than 3 people...BUT the area outside the front door is large enough to set 6-8 beach chairs around to chill outside at night. I would definitely stay here again.

Siblings and spouses vacation
We really enjoyed our vacation! It was time spent with family. Bedrooms and bathrooms were accommodating for all. The large table was great for dinner and games. The upper sitting area was fantastic for morning coffee or an evening movie. Walks on the beach daily were amazing!!

Awesome location! Great stay
Our stay was everything we hoped for and more. We had a pretty large group of family and friends and the house had more than enough space for all. The location was just what we were looking for, right off the beach and within walking distance of great restaurants. The place was well kept and our experience overall was a very positive one. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a beach vacation!

Rundown rental
There are a lot of things broken at this property, which were not mentioned in reviews. The pictures are deceiving as well, the carpet and sofas have stains all over. We all felt uncomfortable walking barefoot in the house and sitting on the couches. Upon arrival, all the trash cans outside were completely full. They provide small flimsy clear trash bags that are too small. We bought extra large trash bags so we would have somewhere to put our trash. The front door did not lock, and we had kids sleeping downstairs, this was a huge problem. The doorknobs are falling off some of the doors, towel racks/toilet paper holders in the bathroom are broken and/or missing, toilets are yellow stained, the shower door does not close all the way leaking water, there is a rancid smell in the kitchen coming from the dishwasher and under sink area, and the stove is not fully functioning either. They took the time to label an area on the stove "broken", which implies there is no intention to fix this. I'm not sure how old the beds are but they were extremely uncomfortable and no one slept well. I'm ok with a place not being updated as long as it feels clean and maintained, this place did not. It could be items are so old, its difficult to get clean. But they need to invest in fixing things. I did not expect this, we couldn't wait to get home.

Beach house vacation
This beach house is in a great location the beds were comfortable but I would not recommend the sofa beds they are like sleeping on springs the house was clean it could use some updating one of the dining chairs was broken I did call and another chair was sent over towards the end of our week there. There are 2 master bedrooms upstairs one of the was missing the toilet paper holder I would sweep everyday because you are at the beach and sand would get on the floor there was no dust pan so I mentioned that they might put one in for the next guest but they dropped one off for me to use The garage does not fit 2 cars unless they are very small we had to use street parking or paid parking in the parking lots across the street parking is limited if you have several cars in your party All in All these we not deal breakers for me we had a great time and enjoyed our stay and we would stay here again

Great location
Really convenient to beach. Layout is great for guests. We mostly hung out upstairs as the 180 degree views were enjoyable. Some road noise at night but nothing that kept us up. We had an Infinity QX80 and the height of the garage was fine but the vehicle was too long to fit so if you have a full-sized SUV or truck you will need to park on the street but that was available with no challenge.

Weekend beach getaway
Very spacious! Great for large families. There's 2 livingroom areas and 2 kitchens along with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Both sofa's pull out to beds. Lots of extra blankets and pillows in bedroom closets. This rental would be great for 2 families. Fireplaces were non working. Could use more silverware and be a little more stocked. Plan to bring hygiene (Bar soap, Shampoo, laundry soap and trash bags) as this unit had none or very limited. Needs a broom!! We rent VRBO'S often and this home was very comfortable just could use a little more supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms. Would love to rent again in the summer when the weather is warmer. 🌞

Overall Great
Definitely a lot more positives than negatives, overall great. We had a great time and would come back. The Good: - Great location (beach and restaurant access) - Great customer service. - Large and comfortable house. - Two-car garage is gold in this area. - They helped us get back a pillow we forgot in the house. The Not so Good: - The 2 sofa bed are unusable. You can feel the all the metal on the mattress.

First let me say, Jennifer who works in the office is a sweetheart and soo kind and professional. Thank you Jennifer, The location is prime, just steps to the sand with lifeguards on duty. The house is huge, you can see the ocean and the waves from inside house, on both levels. This is not a crazy party area, mostly families, which I prefer. There is dual A/C, free WiF, a big garage that can fit two decent size vehicles, my 4-runner and a mid size car fit. Washer/dryer in garage. The front door area is secure with a wall and two wrought iron gates that lock. Clean, large propane BBQ. Across street is a burger place which is organic and grass-fed and the food is delicious. There are also a couple of cute coffee shops, restaurants and stores across the street walking distance just, just a hop, skip and a jump. If u have small children there is a park just a few steps from the front door. Parking is not great during the day if you have guests, so be prepared, though once the sun goes down and beachgoers go home there will be parking. The furniture is not updated or new but if you have kids and teenagers you really don't want to be worried that they are sitting on the pretty furniture. The bed in Master is comfy. Unk if others are as I didn't sleep on them, though nobody complained. Kitchens are well equipped, it was a bonus to have two kitchens! TV in every room, one master has a bathtub. There are 3 full bathrooms and one half bath. All in all the house and location were great. Would rent it again.

Nice place but dealt with critters
The house and the location were beautiful. However, we experienced a few cleanliness items that were unacceptable. The very first thing we noticed was sunflower seeds in the sheets of both the upstairs and downstairs pull-out mattresses. We ended up rewashing both sheets because, it made us feel uneasy that they hadn’t been properly cleaned. Then we experienced ants in one of the upstairs bedroom and found a beehive on the balcony of the other room. The very first evening we also discovered a mouse running across the upstairs floor and our second to last night we found that they had eaten through a bag of chips in the kitchen downstairs. We were also responsible for waiting for the pet inspector to come and set traps. The listing was also not transparent about the construction taking place right in front of it. The view of the beach was photographed at a time when there was no construction, so we were a tad bummed at not having the full view that the listing shows! All around we made the most of it and got a few laughs but, for the amount we paid a night, I feel we could have gotten a better deal renting another house.

Great Vacation
The house was just like the photos, and they had more kitchen dishes than I expected. We all enjoyed our Thanksgiving in this home as there was plenty of room. We will rent again in the future.

Perfect location
The house was wonderful. The beach at our doorstep. We were there Labor Day weekend and it was a neighborhood feel. The beach was beautiful and you had space to relax. With our large multi generational family the two kitchens let us do one major grocery shopping trip. The views were beautiful and it had a neighborhood feel. We will be back.

Great Location but Needs Some Love
My family and I just spent the Thanksgiving holiday here and here is a breakdown of pros and cons: PROS: Location, location!! Half block to the beach, clean neighborhood and 15 min to Fashion Island, Whole Foods, etc. The house is also spacious and bedrooms are a good size. The second floor living space is a great size for entertaining. CONS: Needs updating in a bad way...especially the kitchen. Appliances are very old, the dishwasher is not screwed so if you pull to hard on the door it falls out. The refrigerator has rust all over the front. There was maybe 1 kitchen towel and not many utensils/pans/etc. The second upstairs bedroom the shower is very hard to turn on. Also the wine fridge upstairs doesn't work (don't open it... it smells and is moldy) The space itself worked out well for our family, but we had local family who could bring over extra pillows, kitchen utensils etc. It really is a shame as the house has so much potential and for what they charge really should be upgraded.
