"First of all, Nikki was our online host and stayed in communication with me the whole time. When we arrived at Cedar River, I found that the cabin I thought I reserved was not the one I actually reserved. Fortunately for us Nikki was there to check us in and helped us upgrade to a bigger cabin to fit our family and puppies. "Great place, that's why we book this place every time we come to Illinois. Great neighbors who are very friendly and the setting is relaxing and beautiful. The cabin has all you need, just bring your clothes. The host were very helpful when we didn't receive our door code and responded quickly. We will be returning soon."

"The house was a cute little house. It was a quaint little house in a quiet town. The house was super clean and well kept up. Kris had thought of a lot of little amenities and placed them in the house. For example, she had some toothbrushes set out in case somebody forgot theirs. She also had some bug spray and a citronella candle out for someone if they wanted to sit outside. So the bugs wouldn't bother them. The river was only approximately one block from the house. "We weren't sure what to expect and gosh were we blown away! The property is so quiet and so well tended. The pool was still open, warm and the cleanest I've ever been in. Cabin was equally clean and very cozy. All items we needed to cook were already there and the beds comfortable. We look forward to coming back."
