Three of us stayed in the Deluxe Cabin #1 for four nights and it was cute, comfortable, and well-appointed. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, a full bath, kitchen, living room, AC, and it's light, airy, and quiet. There were plenty of towels, coffee maker, and everything you'd need to settle in. It's right on Lake Michigan and just a short flight of stairs down to the beach.
The cabins are charming and seeing the little cluster of them with the view of the lake is pure Americana. I don't know how old they are, but they're well maintained. The caulk around the tub/shower in our cabin could probably be refreshed, and there's tape holding the toilet seat together but somehow it didn't take away from the experience. Some simple suggestions to make it a little better would be having a clothesline outside to hang towels and swimsuits, and a hose to wash off the sand before going inside.
The only complaint we have is that the WiFi was unstable and very slow, so if you're planning on doing any work or just surfing or streaming on the TV, you're probably going to be frustrated. So either resolve not to work or watch TV, or plan to deal with it.
