"Like the hospitality of the host. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delightful and tasty all done my Emma. The only problem we had was that the bathroom were not ADA compliant. The bath tub was a foot of the floor and made it very difficult for my wife to climb in an out of the bath. The breakfast area requires going up stairs and makes it difficult for someone with mobility issues. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful view from our yurt, but it was not clear in the listing that the yurt had no running water or bathroom IN the yurt. We had a separate private bathroom a short distance from the yurt with 2 toilets, one being an incinerator type (A little complicated, but doable), a shower, and a sink. All dishes had to be taken from the yurt to the bathroom sink to wash them. There was bottled water in the yurt for drinking. Good refrigerator. "We were making a multi-day road trip around the Big Island and needed a place to stay after a couple of days in Volcanoes NP. We chose the Lava Bus because it was such a unique property. We were so happy we did! It is a bit of a drive to get to any services (around 20 minutes to gas/groceries) but it was an amazing location for seeing the stars at night and enjoying peace and quiet. It felt very remote, but at the same time the bus itself was so well-appointed that it felt somehow luxurious....

"My family (all 6 of us) loved staying here and would stay again!! Our only regret was staying for only 1 night! The host, John, was fantastic! Anyone who has stayed in Kona, try this place! "Absolutely loved staying here and Jacob and Morena are top notch hosts! We love to get out and about and they were able to suggest some really awesome places to visit. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Such a great vibe and we loved the sound of the frogs at night. If we're ever on the Big Island again we will definitely stay here. ☺️"

"We had a very good time in the cottage! The place is as expected and even better. Great views, quiet (outside of nature noise of course), clean, very confortable bed in the main house. Our 12 years old daughter loved the cats and they returned it well 😉. It was our second time in Milolii and we will come back to the cottage!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. several little lizards came to our outdoor breakfast table, and we loved feeding them. One of us did get eaten up by either mosquitoes or no-see-ums, despite applying bug spray liberally. We also had to get used to the very loud nocturnal coqui frogs—bring ear plugs. "

"We enjoyed staying at Dragonfly Farm. Hostess was very welcoming! Beautiful avocado farm with chickens & goats & cat! We loved the attached backyard deck for morning & night hangout, beautiful views! And florally fragrant air was unbelievable. Kitchen is well equipped for meal making. It’s a 1 bedroom as bunk beds are in main room. King bed was very comfortable! Host and hostess share beach chairs, masks, towels are convenience- perfect!
