"We enjoyed our too short stay in this beautiful place. I loved the interior decor. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels were luxurious. The kitchen was well stocked. I most loved seeing an amazing sunrise from our deck. South point and the green beach parking lot are just a short drive at end of the road. Can highly recommend. Thank you :-)"

"Room was a bit smaller than expected with kitchenette, no AC so very hot at night. Mattress was a bit mushy and roof over patio leaked onto the table when it rained. Not much privacy since you can hear all neighbors. Very picturesque but probably wouldn’t stay there again. "

"This locale was a welcome change from all the action in Kona. Out of the way but within a long half hour drive to Volcano National Park. Nearby town has twice weekly market and great Bakery. Be aware that the condos are the only remains of a golf resort. No AC in units but plenty of fans and the ocean breeze cools things off at night. Nice pool and hot tub with a view of ocean and two nice barbeque grills. A few minutes walk to famous black sand beach with turtles. Best visited in early morning...

"The grounds are beautiful. No one helped with checkin couldn’t find #71. Didn’t know where to park. There wasn’t as much airflow as described. Really stuffy/hot sweating. The bed was hard, the couch really needs to be replaced. The loungers at the pool were chained together one facing the pool, one facing the other way. Couldn’t move any more than a couple inches. Very strange. There really is nothing around the area. The condo was clean and kitchen stocked. "

"It was very convenient location in Hilo. Next to lovely grounds. I did not see a hot tub, but did use pool. We had a mountain view but not an ocean view. The 3 balconies were great for viewing. For the price this is a good value. The bathtubs are old. But, they work fine. It is an older unit and building, but it was comfortable. Two bedroom and two bathrooms. Has coffee filters and shampoo. Has parking under facility. Walkable to a beach and lovely park area."

"This property and the host, Ruth, is the best VRBO we’ve stayed at. The location is rural, which is a plus for us. So quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The place is immaculate, so comfortable and she’s thought of everything to make our stay feel special. "One of the highlights of our trip to the Big Island was our stay in Naalehu. The house is just fantastic, with 3 good-sized bedrooms and two beautifully appointed bathrooms. The open plan sitting area and kitchen was such a welcoming space compared to most hotels. The decks offer great ocean views. A perfect spot for access to black, green, and white sand beaches at the southernmost point in the United States. "

"We loved our stay here. This particular unit has one of the best locations on the property with a direct view of the ocean. We saw many whales right offshore from our unit! The location near the black sand beach was fantastic and we loved the ocean and turtles. It is a quiet and peaceful place to visit. The unit was very comfortable and clean. We had everything we needed and was perfect for a quiet getaway."
