"Charming! This pleasant inn reminded me of something in a Miss Marple novel. My room was clean and well-furnished. Staff was pleasant; there doesn’t seem to be often someone at the front desk, but my call to the duty phone was answered quickly. I didn’t take advantage of the free breakfast, but it looked and smelled great. My one complaint is the parking lot: the lines are so close together it was hard to park and then hard to open my car door. Overall: a lovely place and I'd stay there again."

"This is a lovely pair of buildings in a lovely location. If you like sunsets over the water you don't need to go to the beach, the Susquehanna is wide and slow and the adirondack chairs are in a perfect spot to sip cocktails and watch the joggers on the river walk and see the sun work its way into the hills."

It is clear this is family owned and lovingly run. Every employee/owner made us feel very welcome and almost like family. The breakfast was AMAZING and even kept us at the Inn longer in the mornings than we normally would stay just so we didn't miss it! Rooms were clean and well maintained. "The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place...
