"The house was cute and very much as pictured.Remote location with no visible neighbors. Location was across the road from the lake so no private access but state run access about a mile down the road. The beds/bedrooms are on the smaller side so if you are over 6 feet tall your feet might hang off the end of the bed but shouldn't be a dealbreaker. The house was clean and drinking water, a bag of ice and firewood were provided. Host was responsive and helpful. Overall a very cute little cabin and...

"Very nice, clean cabin. Super easy to check in and great communication. All our questions were quickly answered and addressed.Cabin is fully stocked, full kitchen, beautiful porch. Although there wasn't air, the cabin has plenty of fans and stayed quite cool Short walk to the beach and lake. Great for swimming boating and just relaxing.Dog had a great time too. There is a large hill to tackle if you feel like taking a walk. A little challenging....Quick ride to town for groceries, an ice cream...

"A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. "

"We stayed 3 nights in mid-July as a base for hiking in the southern section of the High Peaks. Cottage was cozy and welcoming, very clean, plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teenagers to gather and also be out of each others way. Screened-in porch was lovely. House stayed fairly cool despite the stretch of hot/humid weather we hit. Access to fairly extensive hiking trails right on property. Easy drive to places like North Creek, Schroon Lake and Keene Valley. Would stay again. "
