"This cabin was a short drive from downtown Abingdon but so much land around that it felt secluded (which we loved). It is just a short walk to the Creeper Trail."

"It was a short weekend trip, but the accommodations were perfect. The house was impeccably clean, and very well stocked, with bathroom essentials, board games available, and a well appreciated welcome basket of snacks. The location was very relaxing; we sat on the dock by the lake until well after dark. We will return again and plan for a longer stay. "

"Drive to property made you feel off the beaten path. The property was as advertised. Comfy beds. Nice kitchen. Really enjoyed the decks especially viewing comet and Orion meteor showers. Lots of wildlife; turkey, deer, owls, ducks and bald eagle. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this property. It’s semi-secluded yet close enough to get anywhere we wanted to go in 15-25 minutes. The cabin very comfortably accommodated the two of us. The shower is a nice size and living room seating was comfortable for two people. It’s so quiet at night! There are no street lights so if you arrive after dark, it’s a little tricky to find. Make sure you look at the images in Google maps so you can easily recognize the road to turn off. (Our GPS stopped...

"Was so impressed with this house. It was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything you needed in the kitchen. The deck, the privacy, the beautiful back yard and creek made it even better. We also loved the train going by several times a day. Check in was easy. We are looking forward to coming back!"
