"Much nicer than the photos! Beautifully clean and cozy! Very well equipped, everything and more than you would need, washer with dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Comfy beds, beautiful linens, plenty of thick towels, nice tiled bathroom. One of the nicest cottages we’ve ever rented. They even put up a little Xmas tree for us! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break. The cottage is one of the nicest we've stayed in, really well equipped and with some lovely, thought-out homely touches e.g. lovely reed difusers, Helpful laundry basket and sweet key hooks. Would definitely visit gin!"

"Lovely location with great views across to the Malverns. Located at edge of woods on a smallholding with sheep paddock behind accomodation in annex room above garage block. "We stayed for a few days between christmas and new year and it was a lovely location, lots of lovely local villages and hikes, with a nice log fire to come home to. Hosts were very kind, helpful and gave lots of info on local area. "

"Overall this was a good stay, rooms were nice and clean and there was plenty of space for 10 adults to stay. However, both ovens failed to heat properly which made cooking a bit of a pain. Check in process was not great, only being able to arrive between 5-6, the owner did not respond to any prior messages. Despite this, the local area was stunning, and the house was fit for purpose and good value considering the price of other locations in the area for a group this size."

"We enjoyed our stay here in a very confirtable cottage tucked away in the countryside. The beds were particularly comfortable. The hosts communicated well and we really enjoyed tge free range eggs they left us from their chickens. Plenty of birds and very dark so great for stars if it is clear."

"A wonderful location for a last minute short break. The Barn was exactly what we needed and as described. We could happily sit and look at the Views and sunset from the garden / patio, whilst relaxing. Walking possible direct from the Barn and easy access to loads of places to visit across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean. Great communication from host. We highly recommend & I am sure we will rebook. Thank you."

"We had a great weekend at the Long Barn. The hosts were very good at communication and the accommodation was perfect in every way…cleanliness, amenities, view and comfort. We will stay again. "

"Nice secure spot up a lane away from the road so happy leaving mountain bikes overnight.Small but really nice layout with great shower and kitchenette area. Bed was too small in both directions (I'm 6ft tall) and sofa bed very uncomfortable for my son, so none of us slept very well.Nice garden and dog friendly.Would definitely book again but only if the bed situation is improved"

"A lovely 3 night Stay in Hay on Wye. The cottage is stunning and so well located for browsing the shops, the sights and the castle and perfect to pop back and forth if needed. Very central but also very peaceful. Communication from Sue was amazing and she was really accommodating and generous throughout our stay. I would book here again in a heartbeat."

"Great house, location and very helpful housekeeper"

"Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. "Lovely location, very spacious property with amazing spaces. Kitchen spacious and well equipped. Beds comfortable. bathrooms good. Great bonus as it wasn’t exactly “flaming June” was the snooker table, especially for the youngsters , there were many challenging matches! Outside facilities were great but because of the weather not uses apart from table tennis and basketball net. Plenty to see and do only a short drive away."

"The hotel was out from the city centre but was on a bus route to get into Hereford so we left the car in their free carpark and went shopping and watched the rugby. Lovely area and the views were fantastic from the hotel dining rooms. There was new menu starting yesterday and the choice of meals were very good. We had dinner - pork loin and a braised beef cheek, which were both excellent and a choice of a hot cooked breakfast or a cold buffet , both were really good. The room was a little...
