"This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Its ideally located in Virginia wine country and in proximity to the homes of three past presidents, all of which you can visit. If you feel like shopping or eating out,...

"We had a great time at the Lake House. The place had everything for our family, each kid got their own room so that’s was one less fight lol- Our dog enjoyed the extra large backyard to run around. We loved the opportunity to do some kayaking - Looking forward to go back for more days! "

"We had a wonderful time at the Lake. We were in an excellent location and Martin was very accommodating for our dogs. The fenced in yard was a big bonus. We lost air conditioning briefly but that issue was resolved quickly. We definitely plan to come back to Lake Anna. Thank you"
