"this place was out in the middle of nowhere but was amazing. It was so quiet you could hear your ears ringing. the sky was clear and beautiful we saw shooting stars, the milky way and just beautiful night sky. if your in to books this is a place to explore. the owner had to have thousands of books and they were all well organized. some of the books were published in the early 1900’s. the host was very friendly and I am assuming that he put a lot of love into building this home. "Diane was welcoming from the start, and we felt right at home at Foxwood, which was impeccably cleaned and seasonally decorated. She stocked the beverage fridge with our favorite drinks and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Logs were conveniently stored outside in a sheltered spot, with fire starters left for us inside by the wood-burning fireplace. "Lynne and Buddy were amazing hosts! Everything was wonderful and they were so so helpful and accomdating. From the pictures, to the cooler and ice, even their generator lol. They even took us out on their pontoon boat! The view was amazing where we stayed. I booked it just for that reason, the mtns and the sunset. Def recommend! You guys rock! this place!"

"I went there to propose to my now fiancé, the plan was for friends and family to arrive first and by the time I proposed on the mountain our friends to be waiting to surprise her. The staff was super accommodating with an early check in and the place was great, very large and ski on ski off from western territories. Highly recommend if you're there with a large group."

"Our multi-generational family enjoyed our time at the Dome Home. It has everything we needed as well as plenty of space to spread out. It’s convenient to the Village area and surrounding activities. We enjoyed a relaxed weekend of family fun during the summertime at Snowshoe and then had fun with smores and the hot tub on the evening. The setting in the backyard and deck area is beautiful. You could forget how close you are to the main area at the resort."
