"Overall the hotel is very good. Breakfest was fine, room/bathroom was very clean. Only personal complaint is that the beds were wood frimness. This made sleeping difficult but this us a personal thing. I also liked that there were outlets and usb ports by each bed. I would recommended this hotel."

"A cozy little weekend getaway! We enjoyed a couple nights under the stars in the hot tub. All the comforts of an “up north” experience. Very clean and easy check in/out. Definitely a place the soul needs to recharge. We enjoyed our stay here and will be coming back!"

"This cabin is spacious and secluded. Four season snug with a lovely wood pellet stove, I can easily imagine another weekend vivit later this winter. This part of Michigan is loaded with trails and the wildlife is abundant. Highly recommended,"

"We arrived after dark and they had just had the driveway paved. The host Angie was very helpful getting direction to our cabin and went out of her way to make sure we found the trail to get to our cabin. Beautiful area. We enjoyed playing games in the recreation room and we even sat and played the board game sorry. "

"I highly recommend staying here! The cabins were very clean and the furniture was very comfy! We had a great view of the lake from cabin 4 as well. The lake front is right across the road with a multi level deck, two docks, and tons of seating. We didn’t enjoy all the amenities the area has to offer this time but I plan to stay here again to enjoy everything! 10/10 stay"

"We spent our days here hiking and cooking over the fire, it is a perfect base camp if you need need more than a tent. Well equipped and very cozy!"

"This was a beautiful quiet sanctuary. Definitely a great place to detach from the real world for a day or more."

"The campground is being updated as it used to be a church camp. Cabin #1 is a cinder block cabin with 3 bedrooms, one shower/toilet/sink room and a common area for relaxing and eating. It was well decorated and comfortable. It has A/C and a couple fans. They thought of everything when they updated this place. The building with the restrooms is also a comfortable place to play games or watch movies. We were able to kayak and enjoy the river easily. We are looking forward to coming back again."

"We were looking for a great location to stay overnight with a group of 18 high school kids the night before a big tournament. We were looking to do some team building activities and have some fun together after a long two weeks of tryouts. This place was absolutely perfect to create a memorable experience that helped us come together as a team. "Our stay was great! The cottage was clean and comfortable. The common areas had games. We sat in lounge chairs at the lake watching the sunset. Great alternative for visiting kids at Ferris State. They really appreciated the home cooked meal that we could provide since we were not in a hotel. "
