Paula was great with communication and making sure even the littlest of details were taken care of for her guests. Would recommend to anybody and will be stayin there again on our future trips out! "We enjoyed how well appointed the kitchen is and how many “little touches” like soaps, cleaning supplies, toilet paper etc. were supplied. Very quiet quality time for our family including our terrier."

"Tony was an amazing host. The property was home-y and very spacious. Perfect place to accommodate 2 couples and 2 children (or adults who are children at heart). It was a nice little getaway in the woods with easy access to the town. If you’re looking for a place for some great R&R, this is your spot!"

"We traveled with a couple who are good friends to celebrate my upcoming birthday. Visiting Harpers Ferry in the winter was a good decision, because it wasn't crowded yet most everything was open. Breweries and wineries and museums. . . it was a great trip! The home is beautiful and very thoughtfully restored. The owner even won a preservation award for the house and it's richly deserved! The kitchen is well stocked and everything was just comfortable. It was a great place from which to explore...

"This rental exceeded my expectations as it was well appointed with eclectic decorations from around the world, high-end cookware in a fully stocked kitchen, exceptionally comfortable beds, 4K TV and sound system, and breathtaking views. We visited over MLK weekend when a snow storm was expected. The driveway was plowed twice (AWD or 4WD vehicles are necessary); the teenagers loved the hot tub and it was convenient to everything we wanted to do. I loved Jim’s maximalist decorating style as there...

"We really enjoyed our stay at this property, where we nestled down for winter cooking, movies, and excellent snowy hot tub time watching the frozen Potomac. Its close enough for an excursion to Berkeley Springs, and we liked the bed! I often find rental mattresses to be too hard and this one was just right."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Riverside cabin. With a beautiful view, perfect deck for reading, and a quiet house to get away in. So close to town and activities provided for a wonderful getaway. "

"Great experience. Cabin is as shown, very comfortable, easy access. 10 min to Shepherdstown, lots of great restaurants and shops there. Our dates ended up being over the severe cold/snow in January 2025, so we didn't do much hiking or anything on the river, but it was a lovely environment, very peaceful and cozy. Owners were super responsive when needed and very easy to work with. Would definitely go back in nicer weather! "

"The cabin was perfect for a few days of writing and reflecting! Everything was very clean and it was easy communicating with the owner. The house is not "secluded" as there are neighboring houses on two sides and if I hadn't brought an ax/saw to cut my own dry wood enjoying a fire wouldn't have been possible. But overall a lovely stay and I look forward to going again!"

"I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway with a friend and our two dogs. It was exactly as advertised and in a great location tucked into the woods just outside of Berkeley Springs. The hosts were easy to work with and communicated with us well. There was a small snowstorm during our stay, and we had no issues with snow removal. We plan to return!"

"Absolutely a great place and location. Our plans completely changed after getting 6” of snow and then a deep freeze, but we were comfortable and were able to prepare all our meals with the equipment and utensils provided. Communication was great, check in easy and no extravagant check out demands. Can’t wait to come back "
