The house was very clean, great AC, & the check in/out was super super simple! There was just about anything you would need to cook with. We loved how out in the middle of nowhere the location is & still had cell service. It is SO quiet!! You’re only about a 15 minute drive to the horseshoe. "We were in New Braunfels for a family wedding and stayed in this beautifully renovated cottage. The furnishings are even more stylish than the photos can portray, the mattresses and pillows and linens were wonderfully comfortable, and the deck was delightful. And Melissa has thought of everything! There is a wireless speaker in the living room as well as one in the kitchen--both matching the decor. There are 3 ways to get your caffeine going in the morning--and a milk frother provided as well!...

"The house is on a large piece of property with a fantastic view. The amenities were nice and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch swing in the mornings with a cup of coffee and watching the deer graze in the field. It was quite secluded from any nearby neighbors with the surrounding trees. "The photos don’t do the river view justice. The backyard/river is absolutely gorgeous. My husband and our 2 kids (10 & 12) rented it for a lazy riverside week and we all had a great time. The kids paddle boarded, we all canoed, and we rented a pontoon boat on the lake. The backyard was full of wildlife and the kids loved the fireflies that lit up at night. Definitely worth it!"

"Love the location except for the proximity of the campground next door, which had their main access immediately next door to the house. However we did not have any issues with the neighbors. We prefer a few streets away but we had a pleasant time and enjoyable time including the beautiful and breathtaking view of the river which was stunning. House appears to have had a resident a while ago who smoked not recent but lingering scent."
