"We stay there whenever we're in town but this time...their new TV system wasn't working and staff had to come up to fix. Landline wasn't working either. We have cell phones so I didn't tell them until we left. There was a lot of ice around property that wasn't taken care of until my daughter threw some from a bucket by the door, for us to walk on. Also, they could do a better job of vacuuming the rooms. "

"Very cozy, clean, and newly remodeled cottage. We stayed here for four days during the 2024 deer hunt opening weekend. The owners were great to work with and this property has a lake view from the living room. We absolutely loved it! Will definitely be back! "

"Loved all the amenities available in the house from life jackets to toys, games, and movies. We really appreciated all the options for sleeping arrangements Property didn’t have a/c but owner said it was a mistake and will be correcting it on VRBO site and other than first night we didn’t need it. Be prepared to pack out your own garbage and dump is open on limited days, that was my only complaint. Otherwise our family had a terrific time at Pappas and will definitely return. "

"My partner and I stayed with our senior black lab mix over 4th of July weekend. We were looking for a quiet secluded spot for our doggo who hates fireworks and did not disappoint! The house is new with modern amenities. The outer perimeter was still being worked on so mostly loose soil/clay surrounds the house but wooded area surrounds the house providing privacy. It is a 10 min drive to town and a couple of nice dog walking trails - Antigo lake park and Springbrook trail.The only drawback was...

"It is a cute, cozy cabin. Beds were comfy. Obviously loved by a family for many years and now shared with the public. Very close to the water which was nice. Very private and secluded. No towns very close (that we found), meaning few restaurants, bars, bakeries, etc. We saw eagle, loon, but not a lot. Fishing from the dock was fun, we caught several. Scenery was beautiful. "

"We had the best time and truly loved the Deerbrook cabin! The pictures on VRBO did not do it justice. The view, dock, cleanliness and layout was absolutely perfect.
