"A wonderful pub and restaurant, with very convenient accommodation attached. The staff looked after us well. There was a good selection of food for dinner, and the breakfast was outstanding. There was some noise from passing traffic, but this was not overly distracting. Would definitely stay here again."

"When we arrived a notice said we could order logs for the hot tub but on contacting the person he was away until the following week so a bit disappointing Also it stated shampoo body wash etc would be available but we had nothing The overall experience was brilliant just a couple of little tweaks needed "

"We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and it was lovely, very clean and lots of room for the four of us. We visited Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo which was our favourite trip. Would definitely return thank you."

"The food was excellent - there were some interesting and unusual options and our choices were beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Lots of hot water. The rooms are all different, ours was very comfortable."

"Situated in a lovely Town centre, quirky black and white pub with typical unique low roofs, undulating floor and very old sections. The breakfast was great, the bedroom was cosy & warm with a comfortable bed. Reasonable price compared to others around. No parking on site but secure car park nearby with relatively cheap cost for overnight parking using a parking App. Ideal commute distance for Cheltenham and surrounding area. Would recommend"

"I booked a room as I was attending a dinner dance evening in the ballroom. Everything from the evening meal through to the breakfast was superb. The food was delicious and piping hot, the cocktails were delightful and breakfast was excellent. The staff were all so friendly, extremely polite and welcoming. It was a pleasure staying there. "

"Our stay at Somerville House was excellent. Sheila and Steve were very welcoming and provided everything to make our stay comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely first class, the beds were extremely comfortable and the room had plenty of storage space. The beautiful garden was quiet and colourful with plenty of garden tables and chairs to use and a large canopy for shade which Steve put up for us. We had a choice of leaflets providing information about local places to visit and Sheila's...
