"My family of four (young adult children) thoroughly enjoyed spending our New Year in Willie McLeod’s cottage. It is a charming and warm home from which to venture out on Skye. The cottage is well equipped and the kitchen ready for basic cooking. We loved it and would come back in anytime!"

"The property was quaint and as expected from other reviews and the listing details. It felt rather damp but there were electric fan heaters in each room which quickly warmed the place up. "The property was very clean, and the hosts provided us with plenty of cookware to make meals plus an extensive book on local sightseeing, walks, and places to eat! Modern interior, very warm and cosy, and the bathroom/shower was very comfortable (no problems with hot water!). Lively views from the large windows and curtains to cover up the windows at night. Waking up to views of the hills was really special. Thanks very much!"

"We loved this place - right opposite the sea and with amazing view of Skye from nearly every window. Friendly village- especially the shop. Loads of parking. House had a nice woodburner, good bathrooms and everything you need in the kitchen. The house was warm and cosy even in a storm. Really lovely get away. Will hope to visit again when the ferry is on and the pub is open (from April onwards I think)"

"Great location for us and all needed amenities. The view is spectacular and easily a place we would return to. Unfortunately, the shower drain was clogged on arrival so we had to unclog a large amount and also had to buy toilet paper as no spare was obviously seen. These were minor issues compared to how our holiday went. Thank you."
