Jackson's Trails & Tails is now available for our friends who are ready to enjoy the beautiful Little Manistee River and everything that is "UP North". This 2 story cabin has undergone a fresh renovation throughout and now has an open floor plan with 1 full bath + an additional 1/2 bath and laundry room. Enjoy WIFI, Cell service, campfire area w/ some wood provided. Fully stocked kitchen, 2 TV's W/ cable & streaming, A/C, electric fireplace (2) and all nestled around a cozy up north knotty pine feel. The cabin sits on a level bluff with a easy walking path approximately 50 yards to the riverfront deck.

This property offers some amazing river Kayaking, world class salmon, Steelhead and trout fishing, 750 miles of connected snowmobile trails and hundreds of miles of groomed ORV trails, thousands of acres of hiking, biking, plus very close to some of Michigan's best downhill and cross country ski trails and Lake Michigan is only 35 minutes away. Irons is know for being an outdoor recreation hub!

You are 5 minutes from Bass Lake - Nataka, 25 minutes from Caberfae Peaks / Coyote Crossing, 45 minutes from Ludington, 35 minutes from Manistee and Little River Casino. One hour to Cadillac and Traverse City, MI. You are surrounded by 1000's of acres of National Forrest for hiking, fishing and hunting everything from mushrooms to sasquatch. Fishing & kayaking opportunities abound out your back door. We have kayaks and canoes available. Almost completed for spring is a brand new 16' x 16' screened in porch area attached to the cabin. An amazing space to enjoy sunsets, nature and no mosquitos. This cabin will check all the boxes for rest, relaxation, technology and many awesome memories with family & friends for your Northern Michigan Adventure. Come relax and unwind at the river!!!

This river cabin features as spacious seating area, and two plush couches and stressless type recliners with a 55" TV with a full complement of your favorite channels. You also have internet, WiFi, streaming, and cell phone service so you can stay as connected as you want to be. This cabin also features forced air heat, (a/c for the summer), fireplace (simulated), a full bath and shower downstairs and 1/2 bath / laundry. The master bedroom downstairs has 1 king bed and there is an additional pull out couch on the main floor. Upstairs, the front bedroom has 1 queen bed, a twin bed in the open area. The back bedroom has two queen beds. There is also a washer / dryer if needed for your stay. This property is most comfortable with a maximum of 6-8 individuals,. Eight is also the maximum we allow for any rental group - no exceptions. Propane stainless steel grill provided.

This property is noted as not being child friendly or senior friendly. Reason being , the wrap around deck has no railing (3' drop) and the steps going to the upstairs bedrooms are steeper than older adults may be comfortable using. There are no grab rails in the bathroom / shower. Older children, no issue, infants and toddlers not recommended.
