"A lovely apartment overlooking Sooke Basin, clean and comfortable. The host is friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her. The apartment is on the upper floor ("eagles nest" and we saw an eagle), so be prepared to climb a long flight of stairs. Although called a B&B, breakfast is not made for guests but ample food is provided, so you can fix your own breakfast. The host went out of her way to meet our dietary restrictions. "My son and I had a great time exploring Victoria Island and using your place as our HOME BASE to relax and recharge each day. Your bed was so comfortable and the refrigerator had enough goodies in it upon our arrival that we were thankful for not having to find food immediately. There were a number of nice amenities from bathroom essentials to plentiful kitchen supplies. Would love to be able to stay with you again if we are back in Victoria! 🥰"

"The property is a very quiet getaway from all the buzz of Victoria. Breakfasts were hearty, healthy home cooked and tasted amazing. Cathy and Errol were lovely hosts and offered info on sites to see and places to get some good food, because it was our first time on the island. Definitely a place to be if you planning super busy days in and around Victoria and then need a peaceful rest at the end of the day. Kids are also entertained with the animals they have. "Overall, our hosts Francois and Wynn were very welcoming and helpful with local amenities. The breakfasts that were presented were both nutritious and gourmet delicious. We found our bed a little too firm after the first night, so Wynn cheerfully added a “topper” for comfort.
