"We wish we had booked more time to stay in this little piece of heaven! Marcus was super accommodating and the place was exquisite with everything we needed. There is a resident black cat on the property (who we called Pantera, supposedly male) who was very affectionate and seemingly a protector of us, we will miss him dearly. "I’m not sure where start so I will make a list… -we were given the wrong check in instructions. The info I was given by the host was for the room of a different occupant. I ended up opening the door of a family staying in their cabin bc the host failed to give me proper check in instructions. We had to wait nearly an hour for the host to give me directions to the unit we were assigned (I have screenshots to prove this) - there were no towels (the listing said there would be) -the internet did...

"We enjoyed our stay. We were greeted by the sweetest dog, Flash. The house was clean and well decorated. It was very quiet at night. The bed was very comfortable. Communication with the owners was easy. The only thing to make mention of is that the bathroom is downstairs from the bedroom so for those that get up at night for “little trips” know you will have to go downstairs. "

"My family attended the Washington County Fair for my dad's 57th birthday. I came in from Houston and my parents from New Orleans. We had kids of all ages, and my family loved this home. It is extremely spacious; the older children couldn't get enough of the game room and my parents are even considering coming up to stay just for a nice weekend. Communication was great, the home is beautiful, and the property is extremely peaceful."

"Very friendly staff. We were met at front desk as a late check in and couldn’t ask for a better experience from front desk. All staff throughout our 2 night stay were very friendly. Room was cleaned and bed very comfortable. Older furniture in room but did not matter. The coffee maker did not work with the outlet it was in but a quick move took care of that issue.
