"My family comes up to Highlands every summer and this has been the best place we've stayed. The house is gorgeous and very well maintained. There are 6 fireplaces! It was so nice to be able to retreat to the screened in porch for the nightly thunderstorm. All of the bedrooms were super comfortable. It's a little off the beaten path but only takes 10 minutes to get into town and you feel completely secluded, so best of both worlds. We definitely want to stay here again! "

"This place is one of the coolest places we have ever stayed and everything was so relaxing. The uniqueness of the Barn was unbelievable. The host went above and beyond to make sure our stay was unforgettable and unforgettable it was!! It is set up to accommodate a family but if you want another honeymoon style getaway, then this is the place. We stayed a week and were very content to stay at the Barn. We did venture out some but we enjoyed just hanging out and enjoying all the Barn had to offer....

"Four Seasons fulfilled all that we were attracted to! It is a hidden gem. All amenities met our needs. Our hosts were congenial and always willing to be helpful without intruding on our enjoyment. We arrived from oppressive heat in our FL home to gentle cool fresh air and majestic vistas. It was like being in a tree house with a grand deck complete with hammock. We will be back! We loved their suggestion to dine at "On The Verandah". Superb!"
