Very cute property. I’d like to suggest that it would be good if someone aired out the property really well on the day of arrival. "

"I stayed here for two weeks and the experience was wonderful. Sheryl was such a welcoming and lovely host and accommodated us with whatever we needed or asked for. It was comfortable and the view and surrounding area was beautiful to experience, especially in the hot tub! Staying here was worth the extra bit of distance from Napier and Hastings because it felt so removed from the city and had lots of peace and quiet (including the occasional distant bleat of sheep or moos!). "The Stable Cottage is full of the history of yester-year! Inside is warm and cozy with everything you need to relax and recharge and all the amenities such as air conditioning, BBQ, equipped kitchen and full bathroom. The best part for us were the amazing views across the river, the beautiful sound of the river below and lots of space to walk around and enjoy the property. John is a superb host – warmly greeted us upon arrival and made us feel at home. He gave us some great suggestions to...

"We had a fantastic long weekend at the bach. We enjoyed eating on the deck looking onto the garden and trees, the puzzles/games were a big hit and it was just a 2 minute stroll to the beach. The bach had everything we needed...the dishwasher drawer and washing machine and dryer were a bonus too....nice to go home with no big piles of laundry to do! We all got fantastic sleeps...very comfy beds and quiet location. Lived this place and will definitely return. Some phenomenal views on the drive...

"We loved our stay. The house was very well equipt and we had everything we needed for our family of 5. It is a very old house and we were there in the middle of winter. The ground floor was a bit cold and drafty, especially when the curtains were open. Summer would be amazing."

"My 2nd time staying in Sunrise cottage and it was just as good as the first. House is very clean and has everything you need to cook meals. Beds are comfy and the location is great with the Four Square and takeaways across the road. Only thing missing is a BBQ."

"My sister and I stayed at Fig Cottage for a weekend up in Havelock North, it was a great location with easy access to the town. The cottage was very well set up with many breakfast options. Both beds were ready for us on our arrival. We enjoyed playing some of the games and the visits from Lexi the dog, as well as the cute surprise of apricots and raspberries in the morning. The garden was a beautiful setting. We very much enjoyed our stay. "

"I loved the whole setup, especially the outdoor bbedroon amd toilet. Clean and tidy. Had everything we needed, amd would highly recommend this place. Mary was pleasant and nice to talk to. "

"Not super pet friendly, no grass area on site. The air con is definitely needed in Winter. Handy location to walk to town and beach. Loved having breakfast at the Silver Bullet down at the beach."

"Central to most of the activites and sites our small school group needed to do. Clean and relaxing and very easy to use kitchen. Plenty of room to lounge around in both with an upstairs and downstairs. Tried to fill in 'other' on who stayed, but wouldnt let me. There were 2 teachers and 5 Year 11 (15 year olds) students. Please let the owners know a small plate was broken."
