"Awesome property close to all the action! Had everything we needed and the host was super quick to respond. Checkout procedures were reasonable and clear. Hot tub was a nice touch - on the back deck off the kitchen and covered. "

"We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the house! There were eleven of us, and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. Being right on the water was fun, with my grandson fishing (caught a few small bluegill) and swimming. We also appreciated the washing machine and number of bathrooms. There are a few good bike trails nearby. I would recommend bringing games in case it rains or for evening hours."

"The cottage was very cute and comfortable with lots of amenities. We enjoyed the private beach and the lovely lake view. We had some trouble with the key not working, but the owner was very responsive and helped us figure it out, even though it was very late at night! Be aware that unless you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle, you will be carrying all your belongings up 2 flights of deck stairs or up a very steep drive. This would not be good for someone with bad knees - unless you have 4 wheel drive...

"This is the perfect location for a beautiful and serene vacation. We enjoyed eating on the deck with a breathtaking view of Lake Michigan. The beach is quiet and sandy which makes for a wonderful morning and evening walk. We were so thankful to be able to bring our dog with us. The cottage was clean and had an upNorth feel. My husband and sons enjoyed a few games of pool in the basement. We would definitely rent here again. "

"John was so helpful in every way. The communication was excellent. There were wonderful touches like bottles of water in the frig, chocolate mints, extra toothbrushes, shampoo etc, and pancake mix. Very generous and kind. We would like to visit again. "
