"This guest house looks nice on the outside but absolutely lovely inside! We loved our suite looking out at the castle which is right beside the property. The bed was fantastic with tons of pillows. A comfy couch was great for reading and the room made you feel like you were staying in the home of a wealthy aunt, not a hotel. You’re in a quiet neighborhood with other lovely houses. I’ve stayed at the Empress but this will be my first pick for my next trip to Victoria. The value is much better...

"Great hotel location within walkable distance to many attractions and dining options. We traveled with three small children with no issues at all. Friendly staff made check-in nice and easy. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. The pull out sofa bed was huge! Bathroom was clean and updated. Parking is a little far but we were able to drive up to the front of hotel to load and unload. "Very nice, beautiful rooms! We were on the 3rd floor on the road-side of the building and while it was clear there were vehicles out there, there were large trees and they hung lovely baskets full flowering plants hanging outside the railing. We had to really look to see the cars. Will stay here again before we take the Coho to Port Angeles."
