This cozy cove cottage provides you with everything you need to feel right at home during your Gualala getaway. A large deck and a fenced yard give you and your guests plenty of space to spread out and take in the stunning views of the ocean and the rocky cliffs of the California Coast. Best of all, this home also includes a private outdoor hot tub where you can soak your worries away.

What's nearby:
Being right on the water, you will no doubt want to spend your vacation lying on the beach, soaking up the sun. Glennen Gulch is just over a half-mile from your front door and offers sandy shores from which you can launch your Pacific adventures. Necessities such as grocery stores, banks, gas stations, as well as shops and restaurants are less than three miles away in downtown Gualala. About two miles south of town you will find other attractions such as the Bluff Trailhead in Gualala Point Regional Park for a beautiful oceanfront hike, or Sea Ranch Golf Links for those looking to spend some time out on the greens.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Amazing views
Everything was just perfect for our stay. The house was clean, the bed was comfy, shower had great pressure, hot tub was hot and clean, and the view was simply amazing. I wish we could have stayed longer! The only thing that would have made it better would be a couple more pillows, since we did use the pull-out bed for our kids.

Perfect spot
This place was perfect for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary! Great views, close to restaurants and shops, and many great trails to explore. I would definitely come stay here again. Clean place, plenty of blankets, everything we needed.

Cozy With An Awesome View
This is a comfortable place for a couple. Amenities are close at Gualala. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the waves in the cove below. Our only issue was that when we arrived, the code that unlocks the door didn't work. It was easily remedied by calling VRBO who gave us a new code.

Lovely and relaxing
I was recuperating from an injury and this was the ideal location. We found it exactly as described other than it's in Gualala, not Sea Ranch. The hot tub with the ocean view was great and everything we needed was provided or available a short drive away.

Nice location but property not kept up
When we arrived we found that the blinds in the bedroom were broken open and that made us on comfortable. By the rough nail holes in the wall we were able to jimmy a curtain out of the only other sheet we had because we felt it was unsafe. It was very cold there and we were not provided with blankets and the bed has a thin questionably clean sheet, dusty and scratchy comforter and 2 very sad pillows. The bed room has low ceilings, side tables with unfinished plywood sharp edges, and folding chair in the cornered. The aesthetic that matched a child bedroom. Over all hours was dusty and our allergies weren’t happy. We tried to contact the host about the low flow toilet that was clogged when we arrived but did not hear back from our host at any point in our trip. We also contacted them about finding the lights to the hot tub and not hear back either. The property is located right off Highway on which is convenient but ultimately very loud and the little house shook when the garbage was picked up early (also not mentioned by host). At night it’s pitch black and the host conveniently left us two broken flash lights on the counter to help us out. The hot tub was grimy and had a layer of skin on the rim of the tub and needed to filled when we arrived. The view from the hot tub is great though. Our last day the power went out and we were isolated without service or a way of getting directions, also did not hear from host or find directions on how to use the fire place. Kitchen had no salt, oil or seasonings, dishes were rough hardly clean and the sponge left your hand smelling of mildew which was gross. In the bathroom they provided us with dove body soap which was convenient. The bath mat was disgusting and had seen better days and was immediately put in the. Also the dryer did not work. The view from the back of the property is incredible but the property is poorly managed and dirty. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this property and am still waiting to hear back

Good location
Property has a good view overlooking the ocean. Access to the highway is pretty scary, it has really bad line of sight looking either direction. Thought about sleeping on the Murphy bed until we saw the urine stains on the mattress. We never opened that again. Hot tub is not very private. A lot of general maintenance is required for this property..

THE VIEW!!!!!
My husband and I celebrated 28 years of marriage at the Cove House and loved every minute of our stay. The view is incredible, the hot tub was incredibly relaxing and the bed was very comfortable. We will be returning!

A Beautiful View
The cottage was a little bit closer to Hwy ! than I thought it would be, so we could hear some road noise at the very early hours of the morning, (commuters?) I am a light sleeper, so this may not be such an issue for other guests. The cleaning girl was still there when we arrived right at our check-in time and said she had only been there for 45 minutes. So I think she should have allotted more time for her cleaning. The outdoor patio table and glass patio doors weren't cleaned at all. Otherwise, the place was very cozy, cute and clean on the inside. In the future, I'd rather pay a little more and have a place a little bit further from the highway noise.

Amazing weekend
We were delighted that everything was exactly as advertised! We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi view of the ocean. You're close enough to hear the waves crashing all the time! Even though there were 4 of us friends, we were very comfortable in the house and the beds are SUPER comfy!!!

Rest and recenter getaway
We had an amazing time relaxing and resenting is shutting all the anxieties of the modern world for a few days.The house provided incredible views that made it so much easier and natural to delve into natures beauty and let it cleanse you. We loved discovering the coast and indescribable views that it has to offer! We were awestruck and every single turn, seems like. The house itself is very warm cozy and welcoming. I’ve never had such an amazing view right there in the living room! All the amenities were very convenient and comfortable. The hot tub was the highlight of every evening.We definitely intend to come back! Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Good but not great
Beautiful views. House wasn’t bad but not the best. Bit dated. Good variety of kitchen items. Stove was bit wonky. Tree trimmer showed up out mid trip. I was not given a heads up before they came. They were there all day and noise was quite annoying. Getting on Wi-Fi was a challenge

I have stayed here before and love this place. It's clean and cozy. I just wish they would replace the blinds in the bedroom. The view is peaceful and amazing. Looking forward to my next stay here and would recommend it.

View can not be beat and you can enjoy it from the hot tub if it is cold out. The home had everything we needed in the kitchen. Baseboard heaters kept us warm since wood stove can not be used may-december because of fire season.

Excellent location
House was very clean and well stocked. View was absolutely amazing and hot tub was clean. House is older but newer windows and furniture updates were very nice. We were able to keep the temperature perfect by opening or closing the windows as needed throughout the day, which was a lovely addition to hear the sound of the ocean. It was cozy! We enjoyed our time in this house and had a wonderful vacation - so glad the owners have shared it!

Great little house, perfect for family of 3 or a couple. The house is a bit older but affectionately adorable. The living/dining floor to ceiling windows and 2 sliders make it a more indoor/outdoor experience that leads to a deck with hot tub facing the best views along this stretch of coast. Would recommend and will definitely return to this little hideaway.

Amazing view, appliances desperately need replacing.
My family of four enjoyed our stay at the Anchor Bay cottage overall. The view is why you book this place and it didn't disappoint but the stay could have been more restful. Pros: • The view • The bed in the bedroom • The deck • Proximity to Gualala and Anchor Bay towns Cons: • The loud noises coming from the dryer at 3am. We think it was some kind of animal trying to make a home in the exhaust vent. It eventually stopped after I ran the dryer for 10 minutes. • The murphy bed slopes to the middle and is less comfortable than most camping pads. • The refrigerator is very loud and cycles constantly • Lack of firewood when we arrived and the house being very cold. • HWY 1 noise

Very relaxing.
Great place to get away. Beautiful views, we even saw whales in February. The hot tub was very relaxing. Recommend sleeping on the Murphy bed, to be between the fire and the views and sounds of the ocean.
