"Amazing place to get away! My partner and I found it in a perfect location, we would get up and explore the blue mountains then retreat back to the cottage! The cottage had everything you needed and more! The host were friendly and helpful. My partner and I agree the perfect place to spend our anniversary! "

"Wonderful property, close to everything. Heating was excellent, chamring cottage"

"We were a group of mums craving a little peace, quiet and reconnection. It was our first child-free weekend in years and this cottage was exactly what we needed. Beautifully styled and cozy, it gave us the space to truly unwind. We even stumbled across a Sex and the City DVD, which turned our stay into the ultimate nostalgic girls' night in. Every detail felt thoughtful. We left feeling relaxed, recharged and already planning our next visit. Julie & Barry were also great in their communication!"

" Very roomy one bedroom granny suite. Clean with plenty of towels. Nice furnishings and bed.Internet failed one day but was fixed upon notification. There is a very steep driveway and steps in front of the house that you have to get your luggage up to. Also steps from the backyard up to the granny suite. "Perfect for a couple of days in the Blue Mountains. Comfortable bed, great shower, had everything we needed. Easy to walk to Leura for coffee, shopping, walking trails."

"Lovely cottage in great location. Short walking distance to shops and cafes and some hikes. Short drive to Katoomba and other popular hikes/destinations. Responsive host, great hiking suggestions. Easy check in and check out. Cottage was nicely decorated, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms, great heating for winter getaway. Some games, books, DVDs available. Lovely kitchen, pretty well equipped- only feedback would be to have pots and pans updated and to ensure oven/pots/pans are cleaned well...

"It was our first time to stay in Katoomba for longer than a night or two, and Allambee Cottage was the perfect cottage for us. It was just right for our little family of three humans and one fur baby. It's handily located close to the main shops in Katoomba and other areas of the Blue Mountains are easily accessible. Although we had issues with the main gas heater, Michael was super responsive and we managed to stay toasty and warm throughout our stay (the log fire was fabulous). We look...

"We stayed there for almost 3 weeks and loved it. Everything clean, comfortable and spacious. The nearby highway and railway tracks are noticed very few times a day, if at all, and are more than compensated for by the great and quiet view over the park the home is facing. Very central location when visiting the Blue Mountains. "

"The cottage was good and the beds super comfortable (essential) the cottage suited our needs perfectly. The weather was awful, sadly, but typical of the mountains and we were not surprised. At the age of 85 I was able to access everything easily. The warm bathroom floor was a bonus! All appliances easy to operate. No problems."
