"Very quiet at the end of the road. The cockatoos were loud in the morning and just before they went to bed at night. A simple one kilometer walk to the fish and chip shop in Saint Mary's, that was good food too, especially the scalloped potatoes that are sliced thinly battered and then deep fried like a piece of fish. I love them."

"Super nice place to stay 😃 The room is big and cozy. Everything was clean. Alda is a super human being who you can discuss with. She’s so friendly (thank you ❤️ for everything)."

"Close to needed supplies and stores yet peaceful small farm like atmosphere. Hosts are amazing! It's not new or posh, but it's in excellent condition for medium to long stays."

"Bruce was a wonderful host and made my partner and I feel very welcome. We stayed in the upstairs room/apartment and it was exactly the mini break we needed. The property was lovely and our experience was so relaxing. It’s a shame we didn’t book for longer but I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a stress/free country break. "

"Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious and filling. We have no problems recommending a weekend stay here and will return again in the near future. 5 stars......."
