"My husband and I came to get away from the every day hustle and bustle~ The house is so cozy and the location was perfect… The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed~ Super quiet and tons and tons of wildlife to see… We saw a bunch of deer and we also saw turkeys walking right through the yard!! "Property was great - very comfortable and clean. Excellent communication with owners from start to finish. Property was as advertised - plenty of space, working fireplace, fully equipped kitchen (which was important to us since we cooked breakfast and dinner). Close proximity to everything - hiking, horseback riding, downtown Stroudsburg area, etc. Cannot wait to go back next year!"

"We loved our stay at Old Mallard. It was clean, spacious and mostly as described. The pool area, although closed, looked a bit messy. The main floor bedrooms were great and the kids loved the bunk room. The dining area was plenty big for 10 of us! There were not any games as listed in the site, but lots of books. The basement and bathrooms need a little work and the basement twin room is rustic. None of this really impacted our stay. Would be nicer with some fixes but we still say the...

"Overall we had a good time. The home was smaller than it looked in the pictures. A few quirks were the shower heads and the hot water does not last long. "The house has lots of space and is set up nicely for large gatherings. We were there for a rehearsal dinner and wedding in the Stroudsburg area so we really didn’t spend much time in the house. The living room/dining area is great for getting together with everyone and the basement game room has several games for adults and lots of kids toys. Would recommend the home for large families or groups visiting that area."
