"A very spacious secluded bungalow, well equipped with a welcome pack awaiting our arrival. The weather wasn't particularly kind; it rained quite a bit (April) and it was rather cold but the log burner kept us warm and comfortable and the heating could be turned on and off to suit. The hosts were excellent and on hand to help when needed, but equally would give you the space to enjoy your holiday without intruding if that's what you prefer. "We had a very nice time at our stay in Gifford. The town is quaint and in a beautiful setting. We were visiting Edinburgh so had to take a taxi to Haddington then bus to Edinburgh so keep that in mind if you’re not renting a car. The house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The only issue we had was with the internet going out but we appreciated the management company responding quickly to help us resolve."

"The small cottage is very well equipped, It has been very well thought out, every thing you need using the small tidy space. The outside area is so peaceful and will be at it's best in summer. The garden area very secure for a dog and the cottage is ideal for a single person and a four legged companion, quite a rare find. It rained very heavy one evening yet we heard nothing and felt very snug and warm. "

Simon and Audrey were the perfect hosts and provided aus with a clean and comfy accommodation. The facilities and the layout of the rooms in the cottage was ideal for our requirements. "The house is very comfortable. It is in a quiet neighbourhood close to the ocean. Lots of room, lots of dishes etc.If I could make a few suggestions, they would be: more kitchen towels( one for 5 people is not enough) a drying rack for clothes as there is a washer but no dryer. As well, the pots that have non stick coating need to be replaced as the coating is peeling. Rail service to Edinburgh is very reliable and fast. "Stayed fir 3 nights. With 10 adults. Lovley big house. Plently of room Comfortable beds. Some paintwork a.bit.shabby which was a shame. Only down side was it stated a clockroom i thought that.meant a downstairs toilet but it was just a place eto hang coats. This was difficult as some of the party was eldery and found the stairs difficult to navigate, butmon the whole we had a great.time."
